Alexander C MacDougall, the well' known carpenter and contractor passed away at the family home yesterday following a period of failing health during the last six months The deceased was born in Alberton, Prince Edward Island, June 27, 1861 and was one of quite a large family, he came to this country about 43 years ago When a young man starting out in life he chose carpentry for his occupation and as was customary in those days he served a long apprenticeship Mr MacDougall enjoyed the reputation of being a very thorough and capable workman. He was survived by his wife and three sons, one sister, Mrs Samuel Beairsto and brothers Solomon, Gordon of New Hampshire, and Henry.
