Amos Boulter of Milbourne, Lot 8 PEI, a bachelor, married a spinster, Rosilla Wallis (Boulter) of Millbourne, Lot 8 on June 17 1899. Both names, Wallis and Boulter were given on the marriage documents.

In the 1901 census, Amos, Rosillia and daughter Josie were living with Amos' brother Bertram, age 34. Both brothers were farming. In 1911, the children named were: Jessie Edna (Josie) , Olive (Ada Muriel Olive), Glenn (Myrtle Glenn), and Amos Harold. The PEI Baptism database lists Ada Olive Muriel (1904), Amos Harold (1909), Myrtle Verna Glen (1907), and Ruby Violet Fern (1916).

The 1928 Cummings Atlas lists Josie, Olive, Glen, Harold and Ruby for this family.

Most genealogies include a Pearle Boulter, who was mentioned as a daughter who attended Amos' funeral. She was not in any census records with the family. There is a Sylvia Pearl Boulter b. 1895, bap. West Cape and adopted by Nathan Boulter. Pearl Bolter married Irving Sylvia in 1920 - her parents were Amos and Roselia.
