In 1881, John was born 1846 and Ann in 1843. They had children Flora, George, Jessie, Hugh, Barbara and Donald.

John Currie was one of the excutors named by Hugh McDonald, his father in law, in his will.

In the US 1900 census, Annie said she was born Oct 1845. She had 7 children, 5 living by 1900. They were living in Wyoming, and had emigrated around 1885. John worked on the railways.

When John died, his obit said he was survived by the following children: Hugh Currie of Chadron, Nebraska; Mrs Barbara Griffiths (Griffis) of Spearfish, South Dakota; Mrs Salisbury of Wyoming and Mrs McHenry (Flora) of Alberta. Two sons, George and Don, died about 6 years ago.
