Narrative

Anna emigrated with her parents, first to Massachusetts and then later to Washington. She may have stayed behind in Massachusetts, where in 1904, Annie Dyment, daughter of Henry and Matilda, married Ephraim Charles Marshall, age 25 and a barber, in Cambridge Mass. Annie had been working as a clerk. Ephriam Charles was also from PEI, probably Mount Stewart. It was a first marriage for both.

In 1910, they can be found in Tacoma, Washington. Ephraim and Annie had been married for 5 years, and had no children. He was working as a barber. They had both emigrated in 1891.

This marriage seems to have ended in divorce.

In 1926, Anna Marshall married Lawrence Miller. Anna doesn't seem, from census records, to have had any children. In the 1930 census in Tacoma, Pierce, Washington Anna Miller, age 53. She was born in Canada in 1877, and the year of immigration was 1887.

In her brother George's obituary in 1953, his surviving sisters' names were Mrs Annie Miller and Mrs George Burke of Tacoma. Anna died in Tacoma in 1962.
