Narrative

Hugh's obituary said he was survived by a brother John in Summerside, and that they had both been shipbuilders. John's obituary added that they were the sons of John Ramsay, and had been born in North St. Eleanor's.

Hugh was living in Lot 13 in the 1860s.

Hugh was married to Sarah Lawson in 1862, possibly in Crapaud, by Thomas Duncan, a Presbyterian minister.

Hugh and his family emigrated to New Jersey, in the United States.
