Narrative
Elizabeth was one of eleven children of Samuel and Elizabeth. For half a century with her sister Miss Flora B. McCausland she conducted a private hospital in Tewksbury and Lowell.
She graduated from Tewksbury State Hospital in 1899.
Daughters Alice G. Norris and Elizabeth French Bickel and two sons, Wallace H French and Herbert E French.
Two sisters, Mrs Sarah Cooke, Quincy and Mrs Lillie Douglas of Tewksbury, four brothers, Daniel of F'ton NB; Burns of Tyne Valley; Murray, Bloomfield and Sanford of California.
Herbert wrote about his mother in a book called "My Yankee Mother"
