Married.
At Cascumpee, on the 7th April, by Charles Craswell, J.P., Mr. Wm. Wells, to Barbara, second daughter of Mr. Arch. Ramsay, both of Lot 4.

William Wells' household in Lot 4 in the 1861 census had 2 boys and 1 girls under 5; 1 boy from 5-15.

By 1881, William , 51 and Barbara Wells 42; Isabella 21, Johnson 19, Mary Gray 17,
Margaret E. 15, Agnes 13, Jean 5, Annie 3 and Jessie Wells 4m.

Jean F. Wells, daughter of William, died in Alberton in 1892 at age 17. Guardian

A sad accident occurred in the carding mill of William WELLS, Alberton, P.E.I. Wednesday. While one of Mr. Wells daughters was at work in the mill, the picker flew to pieces, one of the fragments striking her on the head, fracturing her skull. She was picked up unconscious a short time after and despite all efforts to save her, she expired Saturday morn. - 'Examiner'
