They were the married couple with a child in Lot 13 in the 1861 household of Jeremiah Paws. Two members of the family were Presbyterian and one was Bible Christian, perhaps an indication that Jeremiah came from Devon, England.

They had one son John Nelson, whose birth was recorded in the PEI Baptismal Index, and who was living with them in the 1881 census in Summerside. Jeremiah Powe was a seaman, and his son a bricklayer.

"Jermia Powe" and Ann were in Lot 13 in the 1891 census. Ann and her husband were on the Island at the time of the 1901 census. By 1910 Ann was living in the States, a widow. She did not answer the question about the number of children she had living.

Ann was not found in the 1920 US census, and she was not the Mrs. Anna Palm who died in Beltrami in 1916.
