McKay, Archibald 1a

Birth Name McKay, Archibald
Gender male
Age at Death about 91 years

Narrative

Archibald and Barbara were living in Lot 14 in 1809, according to Along the North Shore by J. Clinton Morrison. They moved to Lot 18.

There was an Archibald McKay in Lot 18 in 1861 - some young children in the household as well as a man over 60 - so possible he was a widower living with a married son? But then, the household next to him was Alex McKay, with a younger man and a woman over 60, and one married person.

There was also an Archibald McKay in Princetown, with a man and a woman over 60.

Possible there was also a son John? There were other men named Archibald McKay, and born in 1820 is a bit late for this couple.
