The Farmer saye Miss Zulieka McArthur, daughter of Mr. Newton McArthur, Margate, met with a serious accident in Boston a short time ago. She was employed in a laundry there and accidently got her left hand drawn in between the rollers on of which was hot. Only that she cought her wrist with the other hand her arm would also have been drawn in. One side of the hand was so badly burned as well as crushed that it had to be amputated at the wrist. At latest account Miss McArthur was in a dangerous condition.

Newton's will, Zulekia was in California.

Mrs Zulekia Darrow, 76, died Thursday at her home. Mrs Darrow was born in Margate, PEI and had lived in San Jose Calif until coming to Calgary 20 years ago.
Her husband Willim died in 1934 in Calgary.
She was survived by 5 sisters - Mrs Arthur Green, Mrs Lou Pitt, Calgary; Mrs Maud Gillespie, Gleichen; Mrs Mabel Urch, Boston and Mrs Leamon Canfield, Irricana. Calgary Herald 5 april 1946
