William and Hannah's eldest son, called Robert or William, was an innkeeper. He married Grace Williams.
This is not the complete family. Ellis history only covered their son Robert H., who emigrated to Prince Edward Island.

In 1841, children at home were Mary, 15; Thomas and John, 10, and Henry, 5. William was age 50, an innkeeper.
