McLean, Mary Ann
Narrative
Mary Ann was the daughter of Donald McLean and Sarah Ellis. She married Laughlin McNevin; Mary Anne and her husband ran a hotel at Tyne Valley.
She died at age 71, survived by her husband and three sons and four daughters: William, telegraph operator in Grassy Lake, Alberta; James, harness-maker, of Summerside; and MacLean, farmer at Northam. The daughters are Mrs. Maynard Aitken, Dorchester, Mass.; Mrs. Leith Hayes, Ellerslie; Mrs. Nelson Reeves, Saskatchewan; and Miss Gertrude, teacher, at home.
There are also four brothers, Daniel, Edward, and William living at Northam and Hugh at Searletown and four sisters, Mrs. Alexander MacArthur, Northam, Mrs. Thomas Adams, Arlington, Mrs. Henry Ritchie, Tyne Valley and Mrs. Henry Williams, Lot Ten.
