George F. Moody, scenery painter, was living in lodgings in Kansas City, married but not living with his wife, in the 1920 US census. Living with Hattie in 1930. Married, but living apart in 1940. There were two entries for George in the 1940 US census - in one he was boarding in Spokane, and in the other he was living with his sister Ada and her husband Merrick Horton in Omak, Okanogan, Washington and his widowed mother, Mattie. He continued to give his status as married.

According to the newspaper death notice for George, he was survived only by his sister Ada.
