McNeill, Ann Agnes

Birth Name McNeill, Ann Agnes
Gender female
Age at Death about 76 years, 9 months, 16 days

Narrative

Agnes is a Scottish variant of the name Ann. She was referred to as Ann in Malcolm's will. Possible she was the daughter of Malcolm MacNeill and Elizabeth Campbell, but there were a few girls baptized with this name and about the right date, in the area of Scotland that these families came from.

Ann left the farm to her daughter in law [Amelia] Emily, widow of Edward, in trust for her grandson Malcolm "Mac" Ramsay in her will, dated 1843.

Ann went to New Brunswick, where she died in 1843 - possible she was living with her daughter Jane Harvey in Douglastown.
