Mary Jane Rendel, born in 1826 to William Rendel and Mary Ann Ellis, married Charles Rayner on 3 November 1853. Charles was born at Travellers Rest, Lot 19, on 20 January 1833 to William Simpson Rayner and Sophia Cannon.
Married Lot 13 on Thursday the 3rd inst by James Craswell JP Mr. Charles Rayner to Mary Jane, eldest daughter of Mr. William Rendal of Lot 12. Hazards Gazette 1853 Dec 03- same notice in the Islander
