Narrative
A sad accident happened at Summerside Mills, Lot 14 on Tuesday evening in which Isaac Baker was killed. Mr Baker was at work tearing down a house recently purchased from Colin McKinnon Lot 14 is getting it ready to move. They had the roof off the building one side of which was standing up against the house. Under this Mr Baker was working when it fell upon him. With some difficulty he was extricated and taken to his home at Lot 16 a few hours after which he died. Messrs Lawrence Yeo and Arch Campbell were also slightly injured. Deceased was 73 years of age and was a widower who lived alone. One daughter married residing at Coleman is the only member of the family on the Island. 31 Oct 1902 Guardian

Deceased was 72 years of age and leaves a daughter, Mrs. Jas. Wood, West Devon, and a son, Mr. Theodore Baker, in Boston.
Isaac and Sarah were farming in Lot 16 in 1881, with three young people in the household. Isaac could be the single man living with David Walker's family in 1891.
