Note
The late Mr. Creighton, who died here in 1946, was a realtor and Battle Creek Township justice of the peace and for many years had been an actor and vaudeville entertainer. He and his wife, after professional tours that took them practically around the world, settled in Battle Creek in 1929 and built Ye Fiddle 'n Bow" at the S.W. Capital Avenue address. When it closed in 1942, the establishment was one of southern Michigan's most popular dining places.
