Harriet HIGGINS wife of Amos HIGGINS, an old resident of the city, died Monday after a short illness. Deceased had a stroke of paralysis on Wednesday last and from Saturday till her death was in an unconscious state. The deceased leaves a husband and six children, the latter being Mrs. W.P. HIGGINS, Mrs. SEGEE and Mrs. WOODMAN of Boston, Mrs. WALDRON of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Mrs. L.H. HIGGINS and Mrs. A.A. TUTTLE of this city. The funeral takes place 2 o'clock this afternoon.
Clara died at the home of her daughter, Mrs Frank H. Locker.
