1954 - Today marks the retirement of Mr. Aubrey Brown. who for the past 54 years has occupied the position of stamp vendor at the Charlotte- town Post Office. giving him the longest service of any stamp vendor

Aubrey may have married again after Margaret's death. He was boarding in Charlottetown in 1921, a married man. The History of Stanley Bridge says:

McLeod - 5. E. GERTRUDE (Mar. 18, 1880 - 1967) m. Aubrey Brown. Gertrude took over
the home farm from brother, Charles. Gertrude and Aubrey had one son, EDGAR
b. May 1, 1916. He lived in Summerside and worked at Brace & MacKay Ltd.

In 1921, Gertrude Brown and her son Edgar were living with her mother in Stanley Bridge.
