LEMUEL RAMSAY
Lemuel Ramsay, of 95 Upland Road, died Sunday evening, at the Cambridge hospital, following a short illness. Mr. Ramsay was born 62 yeurs ago in Hamilton, P.E.I., which town his ancestors first settled in 1753 [1770]. He had lived in this city for over thirty years and up to November 28 had for years been employed as a carpenter by the Radcliffe college corporation. He was a member of the Order of Canadian Foresters. Besides his widow Mr. Ramsay is survived by two daughters, the Misses Mattie and Blanche Ramsay, one brother, Albert, in Canada, and two sisters, Mrs. Emiline McKinnell and Mrs. Joseph Broheau. The funeral was held Wedesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the house. Rev. Vincent Ravi Booth officiated, and Miss Melville sang. "I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say," "Nearer My God to Thee," and "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere." The body was placed in the Cambridge cemetery receiving tomb and in the spring will be interred in Hamilton.
