Dr. and Mrs. Harold Ellis of Sherbrooke PQ
Dr. Harold S. Ellis, 57, a practitioner in the Eastern Townships, Quebec died on oct 19. He graduated in medicine from Mcgill University in 1931 and afterwards did postgrad in Boston. He practiced in Magog for some years before moving to Sherbrooke. In recent years his practice had been almost entirely in surgery. Dr. Ellis played a part in the planning and equipping of the new Sherbrooke hospital and was a former chairman of the medical board and a governor and life member of the corporation. He was also district medical officer for CNR. Dr. Ellis is survived by his widow and a daughter.
