Bertram H Ramsay, 48 years old, of Cambridge St, Cambridge a watchman at the New Fog Art Museum being constructed at the corner of Quincey St and Broadway, Cambridge was overcome at 4 o'clock this morning by gas coming from sheet-iron stoves in the basement of the building used for drying plaster. He was discovered unconscious. Ramsay was taken to the Cambridge City Hospital and his name was placed on the dangerous list. Boston Globe 26 jan 1926
Bertram H Ramsey, 48, nightwatchman at the construction lot of the new Harvard Museum, Cambridge was found dead on the floor of the shanty shortly after 7 yesterday morning...The Medical Examiner reported a finding of death due to an accidental blow on the top of his head. Apparently Ramsay had bumped his head severely while making his rounds in the building shortly after 12:30. Officials believe he was suddenly dizzy and toppled over, hitting his head a second blow this time on the temple against a table leg. He had been dead some hours when found.
He left a wife, Phoebe, who is very ill at present and several children. He was employed by the Hedgman-Harris Construction Company of New York city. Last winter he was overcome at the same place by the fumes of a plaster drying salamander in the basement of the building. Boston Globe 19 July 1926
