MacIVOR, Anna Gladys - 90, Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow, formerly of King Street, Stellarton, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2004, in the manor.
Born in Glace Bay, she was a daughter of the late James and Mary MacDougall. Gladys had lived all her married life in Stellarton, where she was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the MacLellan Fraser AMS and a member of First Presbyterian Church Ladies Guild. Gladys was a school teacher having taught in Glace Bay. She was also a member of the Harriet Winslow Division of the GIA to the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.
She was predeceased by her husband, Forbes; brothers, Jim, Grant and Douglas MacDougall; sisters, Kay MacDonald, Helen Urquhart and Bessie Moffatt. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Presbyterian Church, Stellarton, Rev. Charles McPherson officiating. Burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of your choice. A reception to follow the funeral in the church hall.
