Mrs James B. Rendle has been named Mother of the Year in Malden, Mass. Mrs Rendle is the former Gertrude Mahar, born in Charlottetown 75 years ago, the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Patrick Mahar. She and her husband arrived in Malden 40 years earlier. In that time she became one of the most respect ladies of the community, caring for young and old alike.
In addition to her many adopted children, Mrs Rendle has four of her own. A day doesn't go by that she doesn't hear from each of her children, Mrs Warren Moore of Reading; Mrs Milton Paremeter of Lynfield; James of Wakefield and George of Lynfield.
