McAusland, Daisy Adelle

Birth Name McAusland, Daisy Adelle
Gender female
Age at Death 22 years, 4 months, 3 days

Narrative

Daisy Adelle (or Ardelle) was baptized as the daughter of William and Elizabeth in 1914, but Elizabeth was too old to have had a daughter in 1907. Daisy Adelle said her parents were Melvin and Lutie on her marriage record to Fred Coleman in 1927.

William did not mention Daisy in his will, although he left $100.00 each to his other daughters.
She was not named in Elizabeth's obituary.

Her father in law filled in her death record, saying her parents were unknown. She was survived by her husband and son Bliss.

Daisy's mother could have been the daughter of one of the 5 older daughters of William and Elizabeth, none of whom were married until after Daisy's birth - the youngest Mary Olga was perhaps too young, and the next youngest daughter Sarah was age 15.

Where was Daisy in 1921 - William and Elizabeth were dead, and she wasn't with Melvin and Lutie. Sarah and her brother Dan were living with their sister Annie in Charlottetown.
