Narrative

Witnesses at the marriage of Archibald and Mary were Robert McArthur and Malcolm Campbell. They were married by William McGregor, the Presbyterian minister in Richmond parish.

Mary and Archibald signed a land transfer agreement in 1852.

Since Archibald married again, it is assumed that Mary died between 1852 and 1854.

A newspaper article about Catherine McArthur said she had an ancestor Alex MacNeill who lived to be 100.
