Narrative
William Erving McArthur died in Pittsfield Massachusetts at the age of 85. He had been the foreman of the Pittsfield Cemetery and a well known lay preacher. His wife was the former Eleanor S. Ramsay, daughter of Archibald and Sophia (Wigmore). Information on William came from his obituary in the Summerside Journal and Pioneer Friday June 3 1955.
