There is a baptismal record for Zenia, d/o George Shaw and Sicily McKinnon.

Says adopted daughter on the 1891 census, in the household of George Shaw and Ellen McArthur. Not clear if she was their adopted daughter, or if she had been adopted by George and Ellen's son Robert and his wife, who were in the same household. She doesn't appear as a daughter or adopted daughter in the obituaries for either Ellen, or her daughter in law Mary Ann, although Mary Ann's noted that she had raised children whose mothers had died young.

George Sr. was 65 and married in 1881, and his son George was 28 and single - if either was Zenia's father, my bet would be George jr. I haven't been able to find the marriage record for George Jr., so I don't know if he was a widower when he married Annie Costain.
