George Archibald McDonald, son of John McDonald and Agnes Humphrey, married Mary Keough, also from PEI in Boston Massachusetts on 30 Sep 1908. It was the first marriage for both; he was an awning manufacturer, and she was a seamstress. (Mass. Marriages on familysearch.org). George had applied for US citizenship in 1896.

In 1910, the couple was living with her mother, Margaret Keough, and her sister Catherine O'Neill, in Boston. There is a 1920 census record for a Geo. H. Macdonald and his wife Mary A., both born in PEI at the right time, living in Boston. They don't seem to have had any children.

In 1940, George and Mary were still in Boston, where he had an awning business.
