Lottie was not in the PEI Baptismal Index.

In the 1881 census, her date of birth was given as 1869; in 1891 as 1871; in 1901 as 1876. In the 1901 census, Lottie, age 25, was living in Granville, PEI with her parents James and Christie. From her obituary, she was born in 1868.

From "Lot 16 United Church and its People": James married Christian Ann (Christy) Ramsay from Port Hill and lived where Wilfred Hutchinson lived, adjacent to his brother, William. He and his wife are buried in Cavendish Presbyterian Cemetery because their daughters had moved to that area. The History of Stanley Bridge had the same information.

Lottie married the widower, Levi Dyment, sometime between 1907 and 1911.

According to her obituary and other sources, Lottie had been the telephone operator in Tyne Valley for many years. At the time of her death, she had been living in Rustico with her niece Mrs. Olive MacNeil. She was survived by her daughter Mrs. Dora Wood . She died at 84. (Journal Pioneer Nov. 26 1952)

Lottie was a descendant of Samuel Hutchinson and Elizabeth Wilder, who were married on a ship to PEI. One of their sons was Robert Hutchinson, mayor of Charlottetown.
