Mann, Hazel Elizabeth
Narrative
Hazel Elizabeth was born in 1900, youngest child and only daughter of Johnstone Mann and Elizabeth McFadyen. From a social note in the Guardian, her nickname was "Babe".
In 1926, Hazel went to Massachusetts for two months, giving "Mrs. William Edmund", an aunt in Whitman, Mass as her contact. This was probably her cousin, Lucy Bowman Edmed
She trained as a nurse at Falconwood Hospital in Charlottetown, and rose to the position of assistant matron before her marriage to Roscoe Auldruf MacDonald, the son of Frederick and Charlotte McDonald. They had four children.
Hazel died in 1997 at the age of 97 years.
Roscoe was born on 1905-11-02 at home on Covehead Road. He died in 1998 at the age of 92.
