Paynter, Caroline
Narrative
Caroline was born on December 3 1854, the daughter of William Paynter and Matilda Mann.
In 1878, she married John Parsons with Bernard and Susan Paynter as a witnesses.
John and Caroline had 9 children born between 1878 and 1893: in the 1901 Canadian census they were: John (22), Maria J (21), William (19), James (17), Alfred (14), Jemima(12), Lucy Ann (10), and Irving (7). Herbert, who was in the PEI Baptismal Index, died in 1886 at 14 months.
Margate charge church records include baptism records for John (1878), William (1882) and Mariah (1880). John was a farmer and they lived in Hope River. They were in Trout River for the birth of James (1884) and Herbert (1883).
Caroline died November 6 1910, and was buried in Stanley Bridge.
