Summerside Journal, 1940: Mrs. Fraser Ross, Halifax, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lucas Allen, motored to Summerside yesterday with Mr. Frank Smith, Halifax. This is believed to be the first car to arrive in Summerside from Halifax this spring.
