According to the History of Burlington/Irishtown, Jack lived in Boston. He married Mamie Hughes.

A Mamie Hughes entered the United States in 1924. She was 18, and was from Kensington. A Jack Mann was single and living in a boarding house in Mass in 1930. (from familysearch.org)

In Doris Mann Hartwig's Mann Family Genealogy, Jack's name was John Horace. He died in 1931. This was confirmed in his obituary.
