Mrs. Esther M. (MacFadgen) Beardsley a former resident of Lowell, but for the last 23 years making her home in Chelmsford where she resided at 272 Boston Road, died Saturday forenoon at the Lowell General Hospital, after a long illness, aged 51 years .She was the daughter of John and Barbara MacLean MacFadgen. Besides her husband and her mother, Mrs. Beardsley is survived by five sister, Mrs. Edgar Morrison of Needham, Mrs. Harold Hayes of Dovercroft,Maine, Mrs. Kenneth Roberts of Cranston,RI, Mrs Henry Eriksen and Mrs Wallace Greig both of Chelmsford, her brother, Evereret MacFadgen of Lowell; also by several nieces and nephews, Mrs. Beardsley was a member of the Chelmsford Street Baptist church of Lowell, Puritan Chapter 54 Order of the Eastern Star of Lowell and was active in civic affairs.
