Note
The death of Hugh John Smith of Alma occurred in the Western Hospital Saturday evening. October 13th. following a long illness. He was born at Tignish eighty- four years ago. a son of the late Robert and Berthanna Murphy Smith. For a number of years he was employed as farmer by J.H Myrlck.
Hugh John was survived by his daughter, Mrs Bert Smith of Alma, and a brother, Benjamin, of Alberton; half-brother Fred of South Kildare; two half sisters, Mrs. Charles Huey (Winnifred) and Nora, both in Worcester, Mass., and four grandchildren.
