Note
The article about William in the Boston Globe when he died in 1906. His obituary only mentioned that he had lived for many years in East Boston with his wife and three daughters, who survive him.

The next day, the paper corrected this, saying that he left a wife, two daughters and one son. Flags were displayed at halfstaff at all of the wholesale fish stores on T warf as a mark of respect.
