Died.
At Lot 14, on Friday evening, the 1st instant, after a long and tedious illness, which he bore with great resignation the Divine Will, Mr. Donald McIntosh, sen., in the 86th(?) year of his age. He died in the full hope at a joyful resurrection.

Donald's will, which he signed in 1863, named the following sons and daughters; John, Neil, Hugh, Archibald, Donald, Jane, Catherine Yeo, Rachel, Margaret Forbes, Annabella, Flora. There was no mention of his wife, who probably predeceased him.
