Note
Possible she was the daughter of James Ramsay and Maria Gardiner.
A daughter named Ann is included in the Ramsay family tree on the Island Register, which unfortunately is unsourced, and there was a girl in this age range in the 1861 census. Anne was not living with her mother and step-father in 1881, and was not a surviving sister in family obituaries, starting with her sister Matilda in 1909.
When her father died, he left a wife and 7 children, which could mean that Ann died before 1865.
