Narrative
I remember seeing an entry for a baby girl who was stillborn, in my grandmother's bible, and this was also recorded in the family history of the Birch family, Leaves from the Birches of Avoca. She would have been their eldest child. The name I remember was Annie Laura, named for two of my grandfather's sisters, which I thought sounded like the song Annie Laurie. My mother says the baby was called Joyce, and my father remembers his mother saying the baby's name was Margaret.
