Johnson, William
Pioneer - 8 May 1909, page 5, col. 2

We learn with deep regret of the death in Denver, Col., last Friday of William Johnson, son of John Johnson, Long River. Deceased had been for some time manager of the Bank of Nova Scotia, Sussex, N.B., and about a year ago, owing to failing health, went West in the hope that change of climate might benefit him. But the hope proved futile; he declined steadily until the end came. He was about 28 years of age, a very popular young man, a capable banker and an ideal citizen. His father, sisters and brothers have our sincere sympathy in their sorrow. The remains are being brought home for interment.
