Narrative

Following an illness of one week the death of Mrs Rachel Elizabeth Cook, wife of George W Cook occurred yesterday at the General Hospital. Mrs Cook was born at Central Napan, Northumberland County and was a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Brown. She was the last surviving member of her family.

A resident of Saint John for more than half a century. Mrs Cook was an active member of the Maple Leaf Red Cross Club. Surviving besides her husband are one son John Watts of this city and two daughters, Mrs Ernest Dougall and Mrs Clifford Graley both of this city. Telegraph Jnl August 18 1941
