He is survived by four daughters: Irene (Mrs. Dr. Lachlan MacPherson), Hampton Station, N.B.; Florence (Mrs. Fraser Ross), Halifax, N.S.; Edith (Mrs. Manning Archibald), Montreal; and Margaret (Mrs. Allan McColl), Mount Royal. His wife the former Winnifred Brace of Summerside, predeceased him in 1962, and another daughter, Mildred (Mrs. D. F. Archibald) died in 1960.

Lucas Allen and daughters Irene, Florence, Edith and Margaret had a window called "Justified by Faith" placed in Trinity United Church in Summerside in memory of Winnifred Brace Allen.
