Humphrey Dymont Wickett born 20 (or 26) January 1854, baptized 19 Mar 1854, O'Leary, PEI. He married Maria Caroline Haywood, daughter of William Haywood and Charlotte Boundy of Northam.

"Married at Northam, Lot 13, on 14th July by Rev. R.T. Dohey,
Mr. Humphrey D. Wickett of Granville, New London
to Maria Caroline Hayward of Northam."

He and Carrie were still living in PEI at the time of the 1881 census. Their son Charles was born in 1881 or 1882.

There is an indication on the record that Humphrey and his family had moved.

The family was living in New Brunswick by the time of the 1891 census, where Humphrey was a farmer and mill owner in Gloucester and where daughters Edith Pearl and Ida Lois, and son Alfred H. were born. They were still in New Brunswick for the 1901 census, where W. H. Haywood, born 1837, was described as a domestic in the household. They emigrated to Maine, where Humphrey became a canoe-maker at the Old Town Canoe Company. Caroline died in 1936, and Humphrey in 1941.

"He is survived ty two daughters Mrs Edith Lurvey of Seattle Washington and Mrs Orrin Lutz of Arlington Mass, three sisters Mrs Fannie Woods Alberta Canada, Mrs Josephine McKenzie, and Mrs Serena Paynter of Prince Edward Island and one brother Alfred Wickett of Missouri; also ten grandchildren and a number of nephews and nieces. Bearers at the services were Walter Dolan Elden Dolan Alfred Wickett Havelock Wickett Vaughn Wickett and Byron Edgerly The remains were entombed in Lawndale for burial in the springStreet"

Possibly because his middle name was Dyment, Humphrey's parents names were reversed on his baptismal record:
