Notes

Note

Everett Harold Campbell married Mary Frances Rich, dau. Reuben and Lizzie Allen, on 16 March 1913 in Medford, Mass.

Everett reported that he had a wife and two children on his WW1 enlistment form (1918). However, in 1920 he was living with his father, and his status could be read as widowed? I wasn't able to find his children under another last name, or with a member of his mother's family. She wasn't back with her parents. It is possible that they were left out by mistake, or that he was entered on his father's census form in error.

His occupation when he married was conductor; on his WW1 draft card he was a milkman or milk salesman, and in 1920 he and his brothers were working as bakers in a factory. He had been working as a chauffeur, but was unemployed at the time of his death in 1932.

Everett and wife his wife May F. were living in Cambridge Mass. in 1931. He was out of work and his wife was sick; he had 6 children to support. He died in Somerville, Massachusetts in 1932, at the age of 41. He was survived by his mother and three sisters and two brothers.

Mary F. Campbell was living with their three youngest children in Somerville, Mass in 1940, a widow. The city directory confirms that she was the widow of Everett. Daughter Grace was working as a seamstress.
