Robert and Charles Anderson filled out Judge Alley's Historical Survey 1876, from PARO and transcribed on the Island Register.

"We were born on the Island, in New London in June 1802, Charles Anderson, age 80; Robert Anderson, born in New London, January 30, 1794, and now 88. Our father came to the Island from Scotland in July 1775. He landed at Point Prim, and married in Rustico in 1789."

At Stanley Bridge, New London on the 16th April Robert Anderson Esq in the 91st year of his age. He leaves a sorrowing wife, 5 sons and 3 daughters. Deceased lived a consistent Christian life, deservedly esteemed by all who knew him and died strong in the faith and love to his Savior, and in assurance of a glorious immortality. Examiner 1884
