Narrative
Alice was the daughter of George Dyment and Ellen Jane Silliker. She married Harry McDougall.
Most of the information about Alice and Harry came from their childrens' obituaries. Based on information from these sources, in the 1930 census, this is the family: Alice M. (32) and Harry C. Macdougall (32) were living in Malden with daughters Gladys (12), Mary P. (10), Velma (9), Hazel (7), and Charles (5). Their only son Charles Bliss died later in 1930.
Harry had emigrated in 1913, and Alice two years later. They were married in Malden in 1917.
On July 29 1934, Harry and Alice purchased a 60 acre farm around Saint John, New Brunswick, where they settled with their four daughters. Some of the daughters had returned to the States by the time of the 1940 US census.
Harry was possibly back in Malden by 1939, when his paperwork to become a US citizen went through.
Alice and Harry were living together in the mid-1930s, but at some point, the marriage ended in divorce. Both Alice and Henry remarried, Alice to Hollis McDonald.
Alice died in 1969 in Malden.
Harry died in Massachusetts in 1982.
