"Prince Edward Island Baptism Card Index, 1721-1885," index and images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/KCXF-R59 : accessed 26 Mar 2013), Jane Cambell Mcdougall, 1856.

From the 1900 US census, Jane emigrated in 1876. She could be the Jane McDougall, age 25, a servant from "Ireland" in the 1880 US census in Brockton, Mass,

It also seems very likely that she was the Jane C. McDougall who married Andrew Clark in Massachusetts in 1884. It was her first marriage and his third. Jane gave her occupation as housekeeper. The marriage record gave her parents names as John and Hannah, and her birthplace as PEI. Given that her father died when she was only ten years old, she may have been uncertain of his name.

On the 1900 US census record, her date of birth was January 1856. She had 4 children, but only one survived to adulthood. In 1910, she said 5 children, of whom only one survived. There were four births recorded in Massachusetts for Jane and Andrew.

Jane was a widow living with her son in the 1910 US census. He was working in a shoemaking factory.

Jane Clark's death record had her mother's maiden name, Hannah Ellis:
