Maynard, James Herman
Narrative
From Sugared Doughnuts by Josephine Maynard Bealls:
Another happy memory was Uncle Herman Maynard's visits from Boston. He came by train and ferry to see his family and always stayed with us for part of his visit. He must have been quite affluent because a Boston street was named after him."
In the 1900 US Census, James and Bertha had been married 15 years, and had had 3 children, 2 living. James was the manager of a restaurant.
