In 1900, the family was in Maine and consisted of: Fay W. (son, b. 1884), Ralph E (1888), Ella M(1889), Daniel W. (1891), Blanche E. (1893), Nellie R. (1895) and Allard b. (1898). The couple had been married for 17 years, and had had 8 children by 1900, 7 of whom were still alive. By 1910, the family had increased by the following children: Neil, Grace, and Lettie. Fay was married and living with his parents. Ella McArthur Hunnewell and her daughter were also living with her parents.
